Built for riders who prioritize traction, control, and consistency, the RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate delivers the unmistakable feel of a coil shock with a highly adjustable damper designed for aggressive trail, enduro, freeride, and downhill riding.

At the heart of the Vivid Coil Ultimate is the redesigned RC2T damper, providing independent external High-Speed Compression, Low-Speed Compression, Rebound, and Adjustable Bottom Out (ABO) control. The updated design reduces breakaway force by 40% compared with the previous generation, allowing the shock to move more freely at the beginning of its stroke for exceptional sensitivity over roots, rocks, braking bumps, and other small trail impacts.

RockShox’s Adjustable Bottom Out (ABO) system adds hydraulic control near the end of the shock’s travel. Five externally adjustable settings allow riders to fine-tune bottom-out resistance through the final 20% of travel, helping provide additional support for hard landings and large impacts without sacrificing the supple coil feel earlier in the stroke.

A Threshold climb switch provides a firmer pedaling platform when it’s time to climb, while the revised compression tune complements RockShox’s latest Charger 3.2-equipped forks for a balanced suspension setup front to rear.

The result is a shock that remains incredibly sensitive off the top, supportive through the middle of its travel, and controlled when using every last millimeter of suspension.
