Charger 3.1 RC2 Damper
At the heart of the Pike Ultimate is RockShox’s Charger 3.1 RC2 damper, offering a wide range of adjustment so you can fine-tune the fork to your terrain and riding style.
Independent high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and rebound adjustments allow you to dial in everything from small-bump sensitivity and traction to support through hard corners, steep terrain, and bigger impacts.
The updated Charger 3.1 provides a broader usable adjustment range, giving riders a more open feel when desired while still offering plenty of support for aggressive riding.
DebonAir+ Air Spring
RockShox’s DebonAir+ air spring provides a smooth and supple initial stroke while maintaining support throughout the travel.
The result is excellent traction over roots and rocks without sacrificing the mid-stroke support needed when pumping terrain, braking hard, or pushing through corners.
ButterCups Vibration Reduction
Both the damper and air spring feature RockShox ButterCups, designed to absorb high-frequency trail vibrations before they reach your hands and arms.
By reducing unwanted trail chatter, ButterCups help improve comfort, reduce fatigue, and keep the front wheel tracking smoothly through rough terrain—especially on long, technical rides.

The Pike’s 35mm aluminum stanchions provide an ideal balance between stiffness and weight for modern trail riding. A lightweight machined and anodized crown keeps weight down while maintaining the steering precision and durability needed for aggressive riding.
Ultra-low-friction SKF wiper seals and Maxima Plush Dynamic Suspension Lube further reduce friction and help keep the fork operating smoothly ride after ride.
