Built for aggressive trail and enduro riding, the Industry Nine Triad Carbon System Wheelset combines Industry Nine’s ultra-responsive Hydra2 drivetrain with premium carbon rims and their proprietary aluminum System Spokes. The result is a fully integrated wheel system engineered for precise handling, rapid engagement, impact resistance, and control when the terrain gets rough.

The Triad Carbon rim uses Convergence carbon technology with a ride-tuned laminate designed specifically for demanding enduro terrain. Rather than simply maximizing stiffness, the rim is engineered to balance strength, compliance, and control—helping absorb trail chatter while maintaining the accuracy needed for high-speed cornering, rock gardens, hard compressions, and technical descents. Industry Nine reports a 25% increase in impact strength with the refined carbon laminate. 

At the center of the wheelset is the Hydra2 System hub, featuring an incredible 870 points of engagement and just 0.41° between engagement points. The near-instantaneous response provides exceptionally quick power transfer when accelerating out of corners, ratcheting through technical sections, or putting power down on steep climbs. 

Instead of traditional J-bend steel spokes and separate nipples, the System version uses Industry Nine’s proprietary 7075-T651 aluminum spokes, machined in Asheville, North Carolina. Each straight-pull spoke threads directly into the hub shell, eliminating the traditional J-bend and spoke-nipple interfaces. The oversized design provides strength while creating the distinctive, precise ride feel Industry Nine System wheels are known for. 

With a 30mm internal rim width, the Triad Carbon provides a supportive platform for modern aggressive mountain bike tires while remaining versatile enough for trail and enduro setups. Available in 27.5”, 29”, and mixed-wheel configurations, it can be tailored to everything from an aggressive trail bike to a full enduro race machine.
