The Industry Nine Sector Carbon Wheelset is a premium trail wheelset built for riders looking for the perfect balance of low weight, responsiveness, durability, and confident handling. Designed specifically for modern trail bikes, the Sector Carbon combines Industry Nine’s high-performance hub platforms with lightweight carbon rims to create a wheelset that’s quick on the climbs, precise through technical terrain, and ready for aggressive everyday trail riding.

At the heart of the Sector Carbon is a 29mm internal-width carbon rim, providing excellent support for modern trail tires while maintaining responsive handling and efficient power transfer. Each rim is hand-laid in Kamloops, British Columbia and weighs as little as 415 grams, helping keep rotational weight low without sacrificing the strength and durability demanded by technical trail riding.

Hydra 2 System

The ultimate Sector Carbon configuration pairs Industry Nine’s Hydra 2 System hubs with proprietary aluminum System spokes. Hydra 2 delivers an incredible 870 points of engagement with just 0.41° between engagements, providing nearly instantaneous power transfer when navigating technical climbs, ratcheting through rocks and roots, or accelerating out of corners.

The fully integrated System configuration also brings wheelset weight down to approximately 1,605 grams, making it an exceptionally lightweight and responsive trail wheelset.

Hydra 2 Classic

For riders who want Hydra 2 performance with traditional spoke construction, the Classic configuration combines Hydra 2 J-bend hubs with Sapim Race steel spokes. You still get the same 870-point, 0.41° engagement system while retaining the familiarity and serviceability of conventional J-bend spokes.

Approximate wheelset weight is 1,697 grams.

The 1/1 configuration provides proven Industry Nine performance at a more accessible price point. Industry Nine’s 1/1 hubs offer 90 points of engagement and 4° engagement, paired with traditional J-bend Sapim Race steel spokes.
