GRIP X2 Damper
FOX’s descent-focused GRIP X2 damper provides exceptional control at speed with four-way external adjustability. Independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments allow riders to precisely tune suspension behavior for terrain, riding style, and personal preference.
The damper is designed to provide excellent small-bump sensitivity while maintaining the support needed for hard braking, steep terrain, large impacts, and aggressive cornering.
FLOAT EVOL GlideCore Air Spring
The latest FOX 40 incorporates the FLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring, designed to reduce friction and binding as the fork flexes under real-world riding loads.
By allowing the air spring assembly to move with the fork under dynamic load, GlideCore helps maintain smooth suspension action and consistent traction through rough, high-speed terrain.
Built to Hold the Line
The FOX 40’s massive 40mm stanchions and dual-crown chassis provide the stiffness and steering precision required for downhill racing and aggressive bike-park riding.
A floating 20x110mm thru-axle helps maintain proper chassis alignment to reduce unwanted friction, while lower-leg air bleeders allow pressure to be quickly equalized as conditions and elevation change.
